Outstanding Integrator of the Year goes to Icomm
Fast rising star in the enterprise level market, Icomm Technologies, has been recognised as 'Outstanding Integrator of the Year'.
The award comes in recognition of Icomm's unique creative, technical and guided approach during 2010 that consistently delivered remote access solutions, amongst others, that reduce cost and improve performance for customers.
Martyn Brownlie, from award sponsor and leading provider of intelligent network security solutions - SonicWALL, said: "Icomm is unique in the enterprise level space, providing a solid combination of technical service excellence, outstanding delivery and appropriate solutions that exceed customer expectations. This is a business that consistently delivers well beyond the brief!”

SonicWALL's Martyn Brownlie presents the award to Icomm Technical Manager, Mark Allbutt
Icomm offers a portfolio of world-class solutions that save customers time and money, specialising in server and storage consolidation, security and Disaster Recovery. But it is the business’s approach to secure remote working in particular that has helped organisations like Gloucester NHS Foundation Trust, RCN and Catlin drive down cost, improve service delivery and maximise performance with a future proofed solution.
Tim Mullan, IP telephony systems lead at Gloucestershire, said explains: "The solution is secure, reliable and easy to manage. We can now provision new users in minutes and we estimate the total cost of ownership to be approximately 60% less than if we had adopted a token based authentication approach.
“The remote solution is saving staff hours in time. The result is swifter response times, more appropriate patient care delivered faster and improved data accuracy."
Icomm's Technical Manager Mark Allbutt, said: "This is a great award for us as it focuses on technical service delivery. Best-of-breed is an Icomm mindset and our mission is to make IT investment's an asset not a cost. This award recognises the efforts of our technical team in delivering exactly that.
